Over NOBCO
On Tuesday May 21st the Vaksectie Intercultural Coaching (VICC) will organise an online meeting on the topic Effectively Working Across Cultures – Turning Insight to Practice. Registration will open soon.
Op donderdag 21 mei 2026 organiseert de vaksectie Intercultureel coachen (VICC) een bijeenkomst met als thema Effectively Working Across Cultures – Turning Insight to Practice. Je kunt je zeer binnenkort aanmelden.
The meeting will be in English, with the possibility to ask questions or contribute input in Dutch.
In today’s increasingly diverse and international contexts, the ability to work effectively across cultures is no longer optional—it is essential. This session moves beyond theory and focuses on how to translate intercultural insight into everyday coaching practice.
The event is built around the research-based Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC) and brings together both research insights and real-world coaching experiences.
What you can expect:
Research insights Dr. Ursula Brinkmann will share key findings on the level of intercultural sensitivity among NOBCO coaches. Interactive panel discussion Panelists from diverse perspectives reflect on the IRC study and explore how intercultural dynamics show up in practice. Hands-on breakout sessions Practical, small-group sessions designed to help you strengthen your intercultural sensitivity and integrate the IRC into your own coaching work.

All registered participants will receive a free Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC) assessment.

Do you want to join? You can subscribe via the blue button (INFO & DIRECT INSCHRIJVEN). Subscription is possible until May 19th 09.00. Login details will be sent to you a few days in advance of the meeting. The meeting will be free of charge.
Cancellation policy.
Cancellations are free of charge up to 2 days in advance. In the event of cancellation after May 19 at 09:00 or absence without notification, we are obliged to charge you €15.00 excluding VAT for administrative costs incurred. This also applies to cancellations or absences due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.
Image recordings at NOBCO meetings
During NOBCO meetings, recordings and photos may be taken. By registering for the meeting, participants implicitly grant NOBCO permission to take and publish video and photographic images. No rights can be derived from this. If you do not wish to appear recognizable in photos or videos, you can indicate this in advance via the email address events@nobco.nl or on-site to the organizers of the meeting.
This applies only to visual material created by or commissioned by NOBCO. It is possible that other visitors may take photos or recordings; NOBCO has no influence on this.
Annuleringsvoorwaarden.
Annuleren kan kosteloos tot 2 dagen vantevoren. Bij annulering na 19 mei 09:00 uur of afwezigheid zonder afmelding zijn wij genoodzaakt je €15,- exclusief btw in rekening te brengen voor de gemaakte administratiekosten. Dit geldt ook bij afmelding of afwezigheid vanwege ziekte of ander onvoorziene situaties.
Beeldopnamen bij NOBCO-bijeenkomsten
Tijdens bijeenkomsten van NOBCO kunnen opnames en foto’s worden gemaakt. Deelnemers geven door het registreren voor de bijeenkomst stilzwijgend toestemming aan NOBCO om video- en fotobeelden te maken en te publiceren. Hieraan kunnen geen rechten worden ontleend. Als je niet herkenbaar op foto’s of video’s wilt staan, kun je dit vooraf aangeven via het e-mailadres events@nobco.nl of ter plekke aan de organisatoren van de bijeenkomst.
Dit geldt alleen voor beeldmaateriaal dat gemaakt is door of in opdracht van NOBCO. Het kan voorkomen dat andere bezoekers foto’s of opnames maken, daar heeft NOBCO geen invloed op.

Effectively Working Across Cultures – Turning Insight to Practice
Psychologist and co-developer of the validated Intercultural Readiness Check (IRC).
Ursula brings extensive international experience, having worked with over 400 expats and global teams. She has designed intercultural and integration programmes for organisations such as Air France KLM, Bosch, Ericsson, Siemens, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She is a former board member (and past president) of SIETAR Netherlands and recipient of the Margaret D. Pusch Founders Award for her contribution to intercultural learning.
