Life coaching from an evidence-based perspective: An interview with Oana David

Dr. Oana David is Associate Professor at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, and founding director of the International Coaching Institute within the Department. She is also founding president of the International Association of Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (IACBC), the first body in the field of cognitive behavioral coaching (CBC). She was trained in psychotherapy at the Albert Ellis Institute, and she completed her doctoral work at Babes Bolyai University, following research fellowships in counseling psychology at King's College London and neurosciences at Harvard Medical School. Trained as both a clinician and researcher, and with expertise in the business human development field, she has been in the forefront of the development of Cognitive Behavior Coaching. She organized, coordinated and oversaw the very successful 1st International Congress on Cognitive Behavioral Coaching.
